About APCYS 3.0

ICA-AP in collaboration with the ICA-EU Partnership, the ICA-AP Committee on Youth Cooperation (ICYC), and the ICA Domus Trust is organising a virtual Asia Pacific Cooperative Youth Summit 3.0 (APCYS 3.0) to “Celebrate Youth as Torchbearers of the Cooperative Identity.

APCYS 3.0 will provide a platform to discuss the merits of the values-based cooperative model, know each other’s experiences in cooperative entrepreneurship, hear innovative Coop Pitch, and inculcate a culture of youth cooperativism.

Coop Pitch Competition

Cooperative (or Coop) Pitch Competition is integral part of the Asia Pacific Cooperative Youth Summit (APCYS). It is designed to find new and sustainable enterprise ideas on cooperatives. Participants get the opportunity to pitch cooperative business solutions to cater to the needs and aspirations of the youth and community in their country.

Coop Pitch competition will begin on 23 July. The shortlisted teams will participate in the orientation and mentorship sessions to develop their cooperative pitches. All teams will submit their final pitches on 27 July to qualify for the finals. The selected finalists will make a live pitch to a panel of judges on 29 July.

Prizes for Coop Pitch Winners

 

The top 3 winning teams will receive prize money of USD 3,000 (1st – USD 1,500; 2nd – USD 1,000; 3rd – USD 500), organizational support and direct access to key partners to further develop, validate and implement coop models developed.
