Karen is a climate entrepreneur with a data science background from China. She is the CEO of Climind, a data-as-a-service (DAAS) platform that allows everyone better measure and analyse climate change information with easy access. She also works as a research assistant at Imperial College’s Centre for Climate Finance and Investment, and focuses on the voluntary carbon market, climate risks, and nature-based solutions, especially in the Asia market. She has been recognised as the first female Chinese to be selected as a Young Leader for the SDGs recognized by the United Nations. She was also named one of Forbes’ 30 under 30 for building Carbonbase and MiraclePlus S21 (former Y Combinator China). Before that, she worked at Merrill Lynch and Microsoft in the data science sector.
